A sudden hailstorm on April 27th caused extensive damage to Portage Lake Bible Camp, challenging the camp’s leadership to balance insurance coverage with the need for modern upgrades. Despite the damage, volunteer support has been strong.

New Evangel church has launched in Detroit, with 45 weekly attendees meeting at Paul Robeson Malcolm X Academy. Led by Pastor Phil Carr, the church partners with the school and is preparing for a relocation.

Healing Covenant Church in Paducah, Kentucky, led by Dawn Choate, joins the Evangelical Covenant Church, focusing on community service and innovative ministry. The 50-60 attendees dedicate themselves to building relationships and the local needs of their city.
