Exploring Your Call Retreat
|
The first week of February may not promise sunshine in Southeast Michigan, but it couldn’t dampen the spirit of the 20 dedicated souls who journeyed to Adrian, MI for the GLC Exploring Your Call retreat. Despite frigid temperatures and swirling snow, participants gathered at The Weber Retreat and Conference Center—a truly beautiful space that is also home to several retired Adrian Dominican Sisters. While the winter weather kept us from exploring every corner of this serene facility, it only made our time indoors more meaningful and cozy.

Exploring Your Call is designed for people discerning whether they are being called by God to deepen lay and pastoral ministry. Each attendee took the APEST test prior to the retreat to discover their unique spiritual gifts and leanings. Every year, the GLC organizes an extraordinary gathering that helps bring together our vibrant community of 70+ churches, our pastors, along with church attenders and members.
