    COACH Model for Christian Leaders is a resource that has been used in over 70 countries over the last 20 years.  The ECC is working hard to introduce this coaching model across the denomination because they believe that coaching will be a game changer for us denominationally.

    Studies show that training is valuable, but equipping, coupled with coaching, results in a significant increase in fruitfulness in ministry, helps develop leaders, reduces ministry isolation, and provides a level of resourcing and support most pastors and leaders need.

The effects of COVID-19, escalating racial tension, and increasing political polarization have all seeped into our churches in some form, taken a toll, and left us with an abiding sense of uncertainty about the future. The GLC has asked Paul Lessard, the ECC’s Executive Minister of Start and Strengthen Churches (SSC) to share a word with the Chairs of our GLC Churches about “Being an Unlikely Leader in Uncertain Times.”
