We love hearing about GLC churches taking an active role in their community, being the hands and feet of Jesus outside the church walls. Pastor John Margargee and First Covenant Church of Bessemer did just that with their Annual Appreciation Breakfast honoring Mohawk school teachers, staff, administrators, custodians, bus drivers and cafeteria workers. Please join us in congratulating Dave Nesburg for his “recent graduation from PLCBC University” and praying for his family as they seek God’s next call on their lives. Dave will remain the Executive Director of Portage Lake Covenant Bible Camp until the board hires a new director. He will then move to a fund development role part-time to work on finishing the Dining Hall “Feeding 5000” campaign.
