Workshops at our Annual Celebration
As we approach our Annual Celebration, it’s essential to remember the significance of this gathering beyond just fellowship. Not only will it serve as a powerful reminder of all that God has done and is doing in our churches across the Conference, but it also presents a wonderful opportunity to engage in informative and enriching workshops offered by our dedicated leaders.
We invite you to sign up for our workshops, each designed to inspire and equip you with valuable insights.
In “Daring to Be Brave,” led by Dr. Mary Hendrickson, ECC’s Director of Missional Vitality, you’ll embark on an honest exploration of your church’s current state, encouraging growth and reflection.
The workshop on “The Dynamics of a Healthy Church Chair – Lead Pastor Relationship,” facilitated by Garth McGrath, GLC Superintendent, provides essential tools for fostering collaboration between Lead Pastors and Church Chairs. This relationship is vital for maintaining a healthy church environment.
In “Undercover Visits: Are Visitors Seeing What You Think They Are Seeing?” Rob Hall, Vice President of National Covenant Properties, will guide you through understanding how your church property is perceived by newcomers—insights that are crucial for visitor retention.
Join Joe Muzzi (lead pastor at Crossroads Community Church) and Matt Ness (lead pastor at One Church) in “Remembering Your Place in The Story.” This workshop invites participants to reconnect and rediscover The Story, your place in The Story, and all the ways God has led you and will continue to lead you.
“Leadership that Ensures Change,” facilitated by Alan Tumpkin, our GLC Church Planting Director, takes a thoughtful look at leadership in Scripture, showcasing both commendable and flawed styles. By exploring these biblical examples, participants will gain valuable insights into effective leadership practices that can inspire and transform their own ministries.
Another essential workshop, “The Missing Ingredient in 2025 Discipleship: Aligning our Lives to God’s Design for Sex,” led by Noah Filipiak—author and Lead Pastor at Mosaic Covenant Church—promises to be enlightening. In this session, you’ll find resources aimed at fostering movements of freedom within your church and youth ministry while addressing the critical topics of sex and pornography through the lens of identity in Christ and spiritual formation.
For those who feel called to serve more practically, Mission Meadows offers various hands-on work projects. Whether it’s cleaning, trail maintenance, painting buildings, or sprucing up flower beds, there’s an opportunity for everyone to contribute. Please let Jani Gustafson know where you’d like to help – [email protected].
As you register for our Annual Celebration, we encourage you not to miss out on these engaging workshops. Each workshop offers a unique perspective that can profoundly impact both individual participants and the broader church community. We hope you’ll take advantage of this opportunity for growth—sign up today!
