Welcome to the GLC

The Great Lakes Conference (GLC) is a mission region of the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC). It is comprised of 70+ churches in Lower Michigan, Ohio, western Pennsylvania, western New York, Kentucky, Tennessee and West Virginia. The GLC is committed to church planting, church development, church outreach, church leadership and Christian camping. We are a mosaic of urban, suburban, small city, small town, and rural churches made up of people with diverse spiritual backgrounds, ethnicity, and age.

To multiply to 100 missional, Christ-magnifying congregations in an increasing mosaic of communities.

To lift up Jesus Christ. We are a movement that emphasizes “new life in Christ” (John 12:32). We are continually open to the fresh movement of the Spirit that lifts people up to Jesus Christ and brings people to Him.
