Reminder to Elect Delegates!

It’s time to think about electing delegates! As a reminder, each church elects delegates at their own Annual Meeting in January or February.

Delegates should be chosen to attend the GLC 2020 Annual Celebration. As stated in the Great Lakes Conference Constitution and Bylaws:

Section 2.2. Delegates.

Member congregations shall be entitled to representation as follows:

• congregations up to 100 members, two delegates;
• congregations with 101 to 200 members, three delegates;
• congregations with 201 to 300 members, four delegates;
• congregations with 301 or more members, five delegates.

Delegates should be chosen to attend ECC 2020 Gather. As stated in the Evangelical Covenant Church’s Constitution:

Article VII: The Annual Meeting – Section 7.4. Delegates.

Member congregations shall be entitled to representation as follows:

• congregations with up to 99 members, two delegates;
• congregations with 100-224 members, three delegates;
• congregations with 225 to 449 members, four delegates;
• congregations with 450 to 699 members, five delegates;
• congregations with 700 to 999 members, six delegates;
• congregations with 1,000 or more members, seven delegates.
