God “Raised the Roof” at City Covenant Church in Detroit, MI!

Semmeal Thomas, Lead Pastor of City Covenant Church, in Detroit, MI, knew God would provide. The church received a grant from Forgotten Harvest to remodel their kitchen (with all new equipment) into a commercial kitchen. Following the renovation, a leak in the roof threatened the brand-new kitchen. Pastor Semmeal was determined not to let a leak in the roof dampen their thriving food ministry. With help from Faith Covenant Church, Friendship Church, Pastor Wally Hostetter, and many other donors and volunteers, City Covenant Church got a new roof!

They raised $45,000 with the “Raise the Roof” campaign. Pastor Semmeal wants to shout from the rooftop thanking the Lord for His marvelous work! He would also like to thank all who listened to the Holy Spirit to give to this monumental project. God is good.
