Stories That Start Conversations
In today’s rapidly changing world, pastors face numerous challenges in their ministries, from navigating cultural shifts to addressing congregational needs amidst societal uncertainties. Thriving in Ministry cohorts aim to provide a supportive and empowering space for pastors to cultivate resilience and fortitude in the face of these challenges, anchored in Christ-centered principles and spiritual nourishment. As we discern how best to serve our pastoral community, we want to invite you to consider creating a Thriving in Ministry cohort.
The cohorts in 2024 fell into one of three categories:
  • Felt Needs: providing a safe space to live into who God has called us to be as leaders in the church.
  • Skill Development: built on a desire to cultivate the very best of who we are, learn new things, and refine our skills.
  • Spiritual Health & Development: cultivating a healthy relationship with God and colleagues, allowing us to live into who we are called to be in this season while living out of fortitude and fruitfulness .
Goals of Thriving Cohorts:
  • Deeper spiritual roots
  • Develop resilience strategies
  • Foster authentic community
  • Equip with resources
Outcomes: By the end of the cohort, participants will emerge with a deeper sense of resilience, fortified by their faith, equipped with practical tools, and supported by a community of peers, ready to navigate the challenges of ministry with renewed strength and vitality.
