Whole and Reconciled | Fall 2020 Virtual Pastors Retreat (spouses welcome!)
“Whole-Gospel Ministry in a Polarized Culture: Pastoral Ministry in an Age of Political and Social Upheaval.”
Political and Racial tensions are high, civility is waning in society and the Church, and we are in the midst of a global health pandemic that directly or indirectly affects everyone to whom we minister. Even at our best now, most of us are feeling the effects of fatigue, anxiety, grief, and discouragement. But our call to ministry has not diminished. It has just gotten more difficult. How does a pastor lead well, care well, and preach well in the most volatile cultural circumstances that our generation has experienced?
Al Tizon – a pastor at heart with exceptional leadership and teaching gifts – will help us answer that question in our upcoming retreat as he shares wisdom gleaned during decades of ministry. His clear, calm, thoughtful voice of reason rooted in Biblical truth will remind us whose we are, and offer pathways forward so that we and the people we serve may be “whole and reconciled” – to God and one another.
Join us November 9-11 via Zoom for this special time with colleagues across the Great Lakes Conference. Please Register Here.
