If you are still interested in attending\, please contact the GLC Office by emailing dani@greatlakes.cc.\nSpeaker – Shaun Marshall:\nThe Great Lakes Conference Ministerial Association is delighted to welcome Shaun Marshall as our speaker and leader for the 2019 Fall Pastors’ Retreat. Shaun serves as the Director of Congregational Vitality for the Evangelical Covenant Church. He formerly served as the Executive Pastor of Citadel of Faith Covenant Church in Detroit and has served on the boards of the GLC and National Covenant Properties in addition to his work with church planting. ECC President John Wenrich had this to say when Shaun was selected to his current position: “Shaun is a strong and gifted leader\, he is consciously dependent on the Holy Spirit. Shaun’s understanding of both congregational vitality and church planting makes him an excellent choice for the Start and Strengthen Churches team.” \nShaun’s theme will be “Transition Decisions: how to get unstuck\, embrace change and make the next move.” There is a difference between a transition and a change; transition is intentional. \n  \nLocation & Cost:\nThe retreat will be held at Mohican Lodge and Conference Center in Perrysville\, Ohio. The all-inclusive cost is $230 per person for double occupancy\, or $300 for single occupancy. \nSome scholarships are available for those who cannot attend due to financial issues. (313-823-8002\, ppangbor@gmail.com) \nThere is an option to stay Sunday night and/or Wednesday night at $89 per room. \n  \nVitality Event:\nThe Fall Pastors’ Retreat will include a pre-retreat Vitality Day beginning the evening of October 27 (Sunday through lunch on Monday).  ECC Director of Vitality\, Pastor Shaun Marshall\, will be sharing insights with churches that are looking to maximize and maintain vitality.  There will be breakout sessions with GLC Director of Congregational Vitality\, Pastor Shelley Kurth\, Vitality Awareness seminars with other Vitality Coaches from across the denomination\, and Reverend Shaun Marshall as well.  Come to the Vitality Day events if you have been through the Vitality Pathway and are looking for ways to refresh your awareness of vitality\, if you are looking at beginning the pathway\, or if you are simply wanting to find some nuggets of wisdom towards leading your church towards a stronger healthy missional community through customized Vitality Touchpoint experiences. \nRegister for Vitality Days by contacting Jody Eidnes at 734-451-4670\, jody@greatlakes.cc\, or Shelley Kurth at 231-578-7942\, shelley@greatlakes.cc \n
