In 1939, a simple idea took root in Chicago: pastors need one another. That small gathering became a legacy—renewing Covenant leaders for generations. For eighty-seven years, Covenant pastors and ministry leaders have gathered for a sacred pause called Midwinter—a space to reconnect, recharge, and remember that they’re not alone.

Midwinter is more than a conference—it’s a sanctuary. A place to worship, learn, and be restored. Together pastors and leaders are renewed in Christ’s love and strengthened for the sacred work of leading and serving—side by side, with one another.

This year the theme is – One Another

This January, they are centering a timeless New Testament refrain: “One Another.” Love one another. Forgive one another. Bear one another’s burdens. These words shaped the early church and continue to guide us as we nurture disciples who love deeply, give generously, and grow continually.

There will be worship time, break-out sessions and relationship building. If you have never been to a Midwinter, this will be a time to meet colleagues and develop vital relationships. We know we need one another because we are better together. We look to build connections and faith in each other as we work side by side in ministry together.
