Are you sure that you are following current regulations for pastoral compensation? If you are at all uncertain about the answers to those questions, please consider sending people from your church’s Leadership Team or Council to the FINANCIAL AND REAL ESTATE TRAINING SEMINAR on Friday, April 24 from 11:00am to 5:00pm.
The seminar will take place at Sanctuary Columbus Church in Columbus, OH, (see map below) in conjunction with our Annual Celebration.
We have offered this event in years past. The key presenters are experts in their respective fields of Finance (Capin Crouse CPA, Indianapolis) and Real Estate (Rob Hall, ECC National Covenant Properties). The seminar is designed for Finance Officers, Financial Secretaries, Treasurers, Finance Committee members and Church Chairs.
Participants have found it to be extremely helpful. John Gardner, pastor of Cheboygan Covenant Church in northern Michigan had this to say after his experience last year:
“I had a great experience at the NCP Financial Workshop, which helped our team focus our efforts and gave us shared language that was helpful to both volunteers and staff. Because of the workshop, our finances now have accountability and excellence.”
Registration for this Seminar is separate from the Annual Celebration registration, but participants will be able to attend the Friday banquet and serve their church as a delegate to the Annual Meeting (if elected to do so by their church).
