Welcome Angela Daniels, Our New Conference Administrator
The Great Lakes Conference is pleased to announce that Angela Daniels has joined the staff of the Conference and has moved into the role of Conference Administrator as of January 2026.
Angela grew up in Detroit. She is a wife and mom with a passion for faith, family, and community. She is an active member at Life Church Southfield, where she continues to grow spiritually and stay connected to a supportive community.
A proud Georgetown University alumna, Angela’s heart for service has shaped her entire career. She has worked in nonprofit and corporate philanthropy, dedicating her project management skills to initiatives that uplift and strengthen others. Described as a “connector of people” by those who have worked with her, and known for her natural gift for organization and process improvement, Angela thrives in roles where structure, clarity, and purpose come together. She sees administrative work as “a ministry of its own – creating structure that allows mission, relationship and transformation to flourish.”
“It has been a joy getting to know Angela through the interview process and during her first few weeks of service to the Conference” said Garth McGrath, Superintendent of the GLC. “Her education, experience, relational skills and deep commitment to ministry excellence make her a great fit for the Great Lakes Conference.”
Outside of work, Angela enjoys cooking and baking, reading, and staying active. She and her husband are currently following Dave Ramsey’s “Baby Steps” as part of their journey toward financial peace.
Angela lives in Southfield, Michigan, with her husband, Michael, and their young son, Mikey.
Angela says – “I’m truly grateful and excited to join the Great Lakes Conference. Stepping into this role feels like a meaningful opportunity to grow in my project management skills while supporting our churches as they pursue ministry with passion and purpose. I look forward to partnering together in 2026 and for many years to come as we strengthen our shared mission.”
Welcome, Angela, to the Great Lakes Conference!
