Women’s Retreat at Camp Mission Meadows

What an incredible weekend it was at the Fall Women’s Retreat at Camp Mission Meadows! Another beautiful gathering filled with laughter, connection, and inspiration. The weather was absolutely gorgeous, perfectly complementing the radiant smiles of the approximately 50 women who joined us for this memorable experience.

We were thankful to have Kaitlyn Holmgren, the vibrant youth and young adult pastor from Zion Covenant Church in Jamestown, NY, as our speaker. Her enthusiasm and wisdom lit up the room. Kaitlyn’s powerful message resonated deeply: “You are enough and beloved.” How often do we let negative narratives creep into our minds? We tell ourselves we’re not good enough or that if others truly knew us, they wouldn’t accept us or like us. Kaitlyn reminded us that we need to re-wire our brains to see ourselves through God’s eyes—loved and cherished creations.  Imagine how transformative it would be to envision Him smiling while thinking of us! This perspective shift can profoundly impact how we view ourselves and interact with those around us.

The retreat was packed with fun activities that brought joy and connection among participants. From wood burning to pickleball and cardio dance sessions, there was something for everyone! We even enjoyed a pool party filled with snacks galore—what’s not to love? Our time together started each day with coffee and conversation before diving into delicious breakfasts. We wrapped up our weekend with heartfelt worship and a closing message from Kaitlyn that left everyone feeling uplifted.

Another beautiful Fall Retreat has come to an end at Camp Mission Meadows, but the memories we’ve created will last forever. Here’s to celebrating each other and embracing our worth as beloved daughters of God. We look forward to what next year has in store for us.
