Help Us Plant the Next GLC Covenant Church in 2021

Church planting has proven to be one of the most effective ways to reach people who do not yet know Jesus. New churches bring both hope and help to inner-city, metro urban, suburban, and rural communities, and the Great Lakes Conference is committed to planting churches where God leads us when He provides the resources to do so.

The GLC is seeking to raise $300,000 to plant four new churches in our region. A generous matching grant is helping us get there. Every gift (large or small) to our Church Planting Capital Campaign by a church or an individual (up to $150,000) will be matched until we reach our goal. As of November 10, we are just over half way to our goal ($155,418). You can help us reach our goal by contacting Alan Tumpkin ([email protected]) for assistance in planning a “Church Planting Sunday” for your church, or by making an individual contribution to the Capital Campaign here: Mission Friends for Church Planting

Although the pace of church planting has slowed due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, it hasn’t stopped. God still wants hurting people helped and lost people found. We currently have several prospective church planters developing core groups in Michigan and Ohio, and we would love to be prepared to plant those churches when God opens the door for us to do so.
